Abstract
As cities worldwide transition into smart urban ecosystems, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Financial Technologies (FinTech) becomes crucial. This article delves into the fusion of these technologies under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 to enhance urban planning and development. It critically examines how AI and FinTech not only optimize efficiency, sustainability, and livability but also tackle infrastructural and economic challenges within urban environments. By employing a mixed-methods approach, including quantitative data analysis and case studies from both global contexts and specific projects within Saudi Arabia, this study provides comprehensive insights into the potential societal and economic impacts. It also identifies key challenges, such as regulatory hurdles, ethical considerations, and the need for substantial initial investments that could impede technology adoption. This research aims to offer stakeholders a detailed roadmap to navigate these complexities and achieve Vision 2030's ambitious goals, thereby preparing Saudi cities for a smarter and more sustainable future.
